Your 2020 wedding date is probably already booked. If not, well...

... you may have some competition on these dates. Experts have released their list of the most popular dates for 2020 and to no surprise, dates with special patterns top the list (and so does the fall wedding season).

While Fall continues to be the popular season once again in 2020, Jennifer Lawn of JL Original Designs (wedding planning & design) says we are starting to see a shift back towards Spring weddings. This is most likely due to the trendy Fall season over the past few years making it harder for couples to find available dates.
The popularity of the Fall season has also has venues in need of filling Spring dates and they're doing so at a discount. So before the trend winds change you may want to consider a Spring wedding if you're getting married in 2021, you may save a few bucks.
Another unique date trend in 2020 is may holidays falling on the weekend. Valentine's Day was on a Friday, Leap Day on a Saturday, Fourth of July on a Saturday and Halloween on a Saturday and New Year's Day 2021 on a Friday. Jen also points out that Cinco De Mayo is on a Taco Tuesday but we don't know what that has to do with anything we're talking about.
